Abstract:

This hibernaculum survey form was used for the results of a survey conducted of Niter Ice Cave in Caribou County, Idaho, on 4 March 2016. Within the cave, 66 bats were observed: 64 hibernating Townsend's big-eared bats and 2 (1 hibernating, 1 flying) western small-footed myotis. Four teenagers entered the cave during the survey. No bats were observed to show signs (fungus) of white-nose syndrome. See also the summary report entitled Hibernacula Survey at Niter Ice Cave, Caribou County, Idaho (U16ABE06IDUS).
